Elanco Animal Health announced the launch of Elanco Ventures, a new corporate venture capital platform backed by a $25 million multi-year commitment designed to accelerate innovation across animal health and the broader One Health ecosystem. The initiative will focus on strategic investments in emerging therapeutics, technologies, and early-stage companies working to solve some of the industry’s most pressing challenges.
The announcement represents more than a new investment vehicle—it reflects a growing commitment to collaboration as the pathway to breakthrough innovation. Launching in late 2026, Elanco Ventures will focus on Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A companies, helping founders access capital, expertise, and strategic partnerships needed to bring new ideas to market.

Importantly, Elanco noted that the venture platform will leverage the unique proximity and connectivity being created within the One Health Innovation District in Indianapolis. Designed to bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and investors, the District is purpose-built to accelerate discovery, commercialization, and company formation at the convergence of animal, plant, and human health.
